As a reminder, in order to activate the subtitles of a video published on YouTube, click on the "Settings" icon represented by a gear (bottom right) then on "Subtitles". In the window that opens, choose between French and English.

Pour rappel, afin d’activer le sous-titrage d’une vidéo publiée sur YouTube, cliquez sur l'icône «Paramètres» représentée par une roue dentée (en bas à droite) puis sur «Sous-titres». Dans la fenêtre qui s'ouvre, choisissez entre le Français et l’Anglais.

The subtitling that accompanies the video Belle Tunisie (40-1) deals with the period of Tunisian history beginning with the signing of the La Marsa conventions of June 8, 1883, which came to strengthen the protectorate regime by granting France the right to intervene in the internal affairs of Tunisia, France therefore representing Tunisia on the international scene, and not delaying in abusing its rights and prerogatives as protector to exploit the country as a colony, by forcing the bey to abandon almost all of his powers to the resident general, arriving at the birth of the national movement with the creation of the Destour party in 1920 then the Neo-Destour on March 2, 1934, during the Ksar Hellal congress, by Habib Bourguiba and a group of nationalists including Tahar Sfar, Mahmoud El Materi and Bahri Guiga.
